I've been writing every since my mother told me to sit down and shut up. I'm still writing and I haven't shut up yet.

I have written a little bit of everything. I have even written songs. Check out my CD entitled, "One Swell Foop." You can find it at www.billeckel.com It's funny in a Ray Stevens sort of way.

Presently, I'm into science fiction. My stories are more of a YA, military sci-fi vibe than hard science. I have two novels in this genre. One, "Hard Kill," is nearing completion.

"Cadet Adam" is the other. It's part of the Uplifter series that I have planned. As a companion and as a way of introduction, I have written a collection of short stories entitled, "Science Fiction Fantasies." It's available now in both kindle and paperback.

*Coming soon* Science Fiction Fantasies is currently under production as a series (8 episodes) of radio plays. Styled in the old fashioned radio drama format. When completed, it will be available on Audible.
