Bye Baby Bye: Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles Book 19
Bye Baby Bye Synopsis My protagonist is Madison Dawn Jackson, a law enforcement officer with the Texas Department of Fish and Wildlife. Madison is thirty years old. She has one nine-month-old child named Anna. They live with Madison’s father, Grant Jackson, a retired Texas Ranger. In a previous book named Justice, Madison was captured by the Mexican Jalisco New Generation Cartel and sold to the second in command of that organization, Jose Miranda. She was forced to marry him. Anna is the child of that forced marriage. Madison escapes the clutches of Miranda when her father rescues her from Miranda’s mansion in Tenancingo, Mexico and takes her home to Magnolia Bluff, Texas. Madison discovers her child has been kidnapped from her crib while everyone slept. Several law enforcement agencies become involve in the investigation: the local Magnolia Bluff Police Department, the Texas State Police, the Texas Rangers, and the FBI. Each law enforcement agency attempts to seize control. Madison wonders if someone she previously arrested might be the culprit that abducted her child.
