Geoffrey Walters (aka Geoffrey Smagacz) is a former reporter for the Times Newsweekly in Queens, New York, and the author of Never Say Murder (republished in 2019) and A Waste of Shame and Other Sad Tales of the Appalachian Foothills (Wiseblood Books, Dec. 2013), which won the Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY) Gold Medal for Best Regional Fiction in 2014. Geoffrey is a Pushcart Prize nominee.
