Dr Judy Ford

Judy Ford (1946 - ) grew up in Sydney and was awarded her first class Honors Science degree (1967) and PhD in Genetics (1971) at the University of Sydney. The early 70's saw the beginning of the field of Human Genetics and over the next 30 years, Judy's research contributed significantly to both Human Reproduction and Cancer. In her later years of employment Judy's work mainly focused on developing research and communication skills in young PhD students with less opportunity for her own research. She did, however, make significant contributions to our understanding of aging and why, and how it contributes to many different aspects of health.

In her early 'retirement' Judy is now again writing and speaking about her, and the research world's current knowledge of human biology and how it affects various aspects of health. Her first new book 'World facts & your health' has just been released but there are many more books to follow. One reader (Mary) of this book wrote "Judy's final words of advice clearly come from her sound empirical evidence and respected research, as much as her personal life experience, keen sense of humor and a refreshing "good old dose of common sense!"

Judy is a popular speaker and although her books are newly available on Amazon, she has been selling them at her talks for many years. If you would like to invite her to speak to your organization, please contact her through her website https://drjudyford.com.
