RABBI JOSHUA GERSTEIN currently serves as a Captain in the IDF Military Rabbinate. He holds Rabbinical Ordination, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Touro College and a Master’s degree in Jewish Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His other published works include “A People, A Country, A Heritage,” two volumes of original essays on the weekly Torah portion.

Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Rabbi Gerstein immigrated to the State of Israel in 2007. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and family.
