Welcome! I'm Melanie Hackett, a people-centered, tech-savvy, educational leader, and a passionate advocate for all children. With nearly two decades of experience in education, I have dedicated myself to ensuring that every student, especially those with exceptional needs, has access to the educational experiences and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

During my time as a teacher, advocate, and leader, I made it my mission to disrupt deficit mindsets and challenge the status quo within the school system. I believe that all students can learn and deserve innovative teaching practices that foster impactful student relationships and drive academic growth. I embrace the idea of being the kind of educator I would want my own children to have, constantly striving for excellence in the classroom.

Outside of my professional life, I am a proud military/police wife and a mother of four wonderful children. They inspire and motivate me every day to advocate for educational excellence and create positive change in the lives of students.
