Biography
Linda Olarin
My name is Linda Olarin. I live in Royal Oak, Michigan. I have five children and ten amazing grandchildren who teach me to see the beauty, the humor and the joy in the little things in life every day. I am an avid music lover and I love to cook. I am passionate about genealogy and I volunteer my time to help others learn about their family heritage. I am the author of two books. My first book "HELLucinate" made Amazon's best survivor memoir list. It is an absolutely unbelievable story about something horrifying that happened to me and that I still struggle with. Many people have never heard about this before because people who have gone through don't like to talk about it. My favorite book review said, "Somebody needs to call Kathy Bates and let her know this is her next best selling movie! My mind is blown". I didn't want to just be remembered for something so horrible that happened to me. I wrote "A Grandmother's Prayer". It is about my wonderful relationship with my oldest grandson until he became a young man. I talk about the fears and worries, as well as the joy, of being a grandmother. It is a very heartfelt story that has beautiful illustrations. It is listed as a children's book, but I think that every grandparent would love this book. It also makes a wonderful baby shower gift. P.S. If anybody knows Kathy Bates give her a call or have her contact me. (wishful thinking)
