Liane Mahugh is an award-winning author living on Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada.

After writing poems and short stories for many years, she published her first novel, The Sentinels, in 2021. She followed up in 2022 year with the first book in her science fiction series, Elemental.

In the Summer of 2023, she published the 2nd book in this series, Down Comes the Dark. This last book has received Editorial Reviews from Readers' Favorite and Literary Titan. It was announced on December 1, 2023, that Down Comes the Dark is the winner of Literary Titan's monthly gold star book award.

Liane is currently working on the third, and final, book in the Elemental series which is expected to be published by the Summer of 2024. She is also working on the first book in a new amateur sleuth series that will be published soon after the Elemental series is complete.
