Biography
Earl Lynn
One of eleven children, author Earl Lynn spent summers with his beloved grandmother and great uncle in a small Southern town. His relatives passed the time by sharing tales of their experiences growing up in the South during the pre-civil rights era. The storytelling had a profound impact on him and informed his decision to become a writer. “I was captivated in some ways and astounded in others to hear their narratives of life with Jim Crow laws,” he said. “I would unavoidably eavesdrop on many a conversation between my grandmother and other family members and their friends while they discussed the past.” Drawing inspiration from those stories and conversations, Lynn has penned two novels about love, strength and determination, and the bonds of family.
