Naveen Sridhar is a scientist with a Ph.D. in chemistry and chemical engineering. Besides his profession he was also active as an entertainer. He authored the book "A Complete Guide to Ventiloquism: Principles, Practice, and Performance". His next book was of a different genre, "Candlelight in a Strom: Born to be a Berliner" about women in wartime and postwar Germany. Born in India, he migrated to Germany at an early age. Widely travelled, he is fluent in eight languages. He lives in Munich, Germany. He has two sons. The present work "Starlight in the Dawn" is dedicated to his wife who passed away in 2017.
