This is my first novel. When I worked as Ranger for Hawaii Volcano's National Park I honed my skills as a storyteller for the many visitors that came to visit. It was there I first had the idea for this book. I now live in the UK and have always been interested in the history of this country. I visited the many places I used in the book. So many of the places, and mostly the ones in Hawaii, I have visited firsthand. A lot of research was done on the historical parts of the story to make sure it was correct before adding my fictional take to it. My hope is that the story will be both entertaining and educational at the same time. Hope everyone enjoys it.
