Bill Hansmann is a retired dentist who practiced in Marietta, GA for over forty years. He grew up in Wisconsin and attended Marquette Dental School. He served in the U.S.Army for two years, including time in DaNang, VietNam.

After leaving Georgia and moving to Florida, he earned his Florida dental license (which many of his friends said an old guy like him was not capable of doing) and practiced part-time in the Miami and St. Petersburg areas. He now teaches dental students at Lecom School of Dental Medicine in Lakewood Ranch, FL., and resides with his wife in Palm Harbor, FL.

"I began writing my first book-Once Bitten- while still in practice, to prove to myself that I could actually write a novel. I enjoyed writing it so much that I followed up with a sequel, 'The T- Zone'. It's still fun, and I'm working on a third, as well as doing some editing for my brother.
